ROTATING TECHNICIAN

SALARY - OMR 250 - 300 + Other Benefits

1. ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry with rotating equipment maintenance experience. He shall be capable of independently carrying out all type of maintenance activities without frequent supervision or guidance

3. Must be skilled in performing rotating equipment related preventive and corrective maintenance, trouble-shooting, overhauling, precision measurement and recording of critical / routine dimensional values, and coupling/ belt alignment, suggesting improvements etc. The person must be able to demonstrate knowledge of safe systems of work, hazard awareness, and mitigation

5. The person should have high quality hands on experience and skills in carrying out maintenance of all types of rotating equipment as mentioned below

• Complete overhauling of Centrifugal & Reciprocating pumps/compressors
• Steam Turbines & Gas Turbines (10 to 40MW)
• Bearing & Mechanical Seals installation / dismantling
• Air Fin Coolers, FD Fans and ID Fans
• Alignment of Machinery (Reverse method, Rim & Face method, Laser method)
• Skilled with all Mechanical power tools
• Knowledge of measurement clearances of all rotating equipment’s (Micrometer inside/ outside, Vernier Caliper)
• Knowledge of shaft, bore, run out etc
