POSITION MAIN OBJECTIVE:
Assist Engineers at site, carry out installation & modification works using hand/power tools, and cover installation & maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Familiar with proper usage and handling of installation tools, hand tools and power tools. Able to manage site equipment’s assembly, connections, operation and ensure safety earthing. Proficient in reading and managing cable schedules.
Perform wiring termination in panels and check for continuity and insulation resistance. Install new wiring & wiring accessories, and locate & repair/replace faults in wiring, equipment, or fixtures in existing wiring systems.
Install receptacles, piping & conduits, lighting systems and fixtures.
Assembling, installation, connection and removal of substation apparatus and equipment. Inspect and operate substation equipment (GIS, Switchgear, Transformers and Protection Panels). Undergo simple tests on electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices. Read electrical circuit diagrams and modify electrical schematic drawings as instructed. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and other related duties as assigned.
Collaborate with company employees and contractors as assigned by supervisor / team leader. Aware of Site Safety Rules & Procedures, and maintains minimum safety requirements (PPE).
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: WORK EXPERIENCE:
Post-Secondary Education Level 1-3 Year
WORK EXPERIENCE:
1 – 3 years
OTHER SKILLS: Good technical Capacity, Communication Proficiency, Efficient Problem Solving
